Nelson Mandela was extremely morally aligned with the common good.
Moral corruption is the leading cause of failure in most liberation-movements. Many discover authority and the struggles that come with it. Nelson Mandela was the President of South Africa that did not accept the newly discovered authority to conflict with his personal and political morals and behaviour. Nelson Mandela has a long list of characteristics that God would greatly appreciate.

This quote specifically touches on the importance of standing up for yourself. As established, Mandela stood up for human rights to the extent of jail time. He stood against the schemes of the devil, took the whole armour of God and stood firm. Mandela's action of standing firm allowed for political and civil revolution.
Galatians 3:28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.
Galatians explains that everyone is equal. This passage states that we are no different than others and yet we are all one in Christ Jesus. This connects to Nelson Mandela's staple ideology which was the goal to unify Africa and eliminate racial discrimination.
